Core Technology
The film adopts metal oxide coatings and metal coatings, and is fabricated via the magnetron sputtering process. The multi-layer coating system enables selective transmission and reflection in the solar spectrum band, with a transmittance of over 40% in the visible light band and a reflectance of more than 80% in the near-infrared (NIR) band. Meanwhile, an inorganic ceramic emissive coating for the mid-to-far infrared band is integrated to enhance the film’s transmittance in the visible light band, thereby reducing light pollution.
Key Challenges Addressed
Selection of metal oxide coatings and metal coatings, configuration of the multi-layer coating system.
Technological Breakthroughs
By regulating the optical properties between the magnetron sputtering coating systems, selective transmission and reflection in the solar spectrum band are achieved. By reducing the reflectance of the film in the visible light band, light pollution after film application is reduced.
